# Privacy Policy — TuneFi

TuneFi is developed by PlanetKLX2 ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data TuneFi handles and how.

## Data Collection

TuneFi does **not** collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

**What TuneFi does:**

- Connects to a PlanetKLX2 fuel controller via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
- Reads real-time sensor data from the fuel controller (RPM, throttle position, air-fuel ratio, temperatures)
- Records session data locally to an on-device SQLite database
- Sends fuel map configuration commands to the fuel controller over BLE
- Performs firmware updates to the fuel controller over BLE

**Location permission:** On Android 11 and below, TuneFi requests location access because the Android BLE scanning API requires it. No location data is stored or transmitted.

**Bluetooth permission:** Required to scan for, connect to, and communicate with BLE devices.

## Data Storage

All data (recorded sessions, fuel maps, app settings) is stored **locally on your device only**. There is no cloud backend, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that transmit data.

## Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties.

## Children's Privacy

TuneFi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
